At Becky’s Child Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to live a dignified and fulfilling life. Our recent charity event in Kamuli was a testament to this commitment, as five precious children with cerebral palsy received brand-new wheelchairs.

A Gift of Mobility and Independence

For children with cerebral palsy, mobility is one of the biggest challenges they face daily. Many of them rely on caregivers for even the simplest movements, making life difficult for both the children and their families. However, with the donation of these specially designed wheelchairs, these young souls now have a renewed sense of freedom. The smiles on their faces as they sat comfortably in their new wheelchairs were a powerful reminder of how small acts of kindness can bring about life-changing transformations.

Beyond the Wheelchairs

The event was more than just a donation drive; it was a celebration of community and compassion. Alongside the wheelchair distribution, we also provided:

Blankets to offer warmth and comfort.
Porridge flour to support nutritional needs.
Free medical tests and treatments for both children and adults.

We were honored to have key government officials in attendance, including:

LC1 Chairperson
District Health Officer (DHO) of Kamuli
Miss Tourism Busoga – The event was honored by the presence of Miss Tourism Busoga, adding inspiration and recognition.

They emphasized the importance of early antenatal care in preventing cerebral palsy and other developmental challenges. Their participation strengthens our efforts to create a healthier and more inclusive society.
